Key Responsibilities- Receive, label, and analyze biological specimens including blood, tissue, urine, and cerebrospinal fluid following established clinical protocols.
- Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot complex laboratory equipment and diagnostic instruments.
- Ensure stringent quality control standards and adhere to safety regulations, universal precautions, and infection control guidelines.
- Accurately record, verify, and interpret test results within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Collaborate effectively with pharmacists, medical doctors, and other healthcare specialists to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Prepare detailed laboratory reports and maintain meticulous documentation of all procedures and inventory levels.
- Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid practicing license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of hands-on clinical laboratory experience in a hospital or diagnostic setting.
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
