We are currently looking for a qualified and passionate Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic academic environment in Abuja, providing essential technical support for students and faculty researchers.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and manage laboratory equipment, chemicals, and specimens for practical sessions and research experiments.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards within the laboratory premises.
- Assist students and academic staff during practical classes, demonstrations, and research projects.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of laboratory consumables, reagents, and apparatus.
- Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on laboratory instruments to guarantee optimal functionality.
- A Bachelor's degree (BSc or B.Tech) in Science Laboratory Technology (SLT) from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Current registration, certification, and valid licensing by the regulatory body in Nigeria, the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT).
- Proven ability to work full-time and commit to the academic schedule of the university.
