About the Role
ONErpm, a leading global digital music distribution service and fan engagement platform, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Label Services Manager to join our vibrant team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this hybrid role requiring at least three days onsite per week, you will spearhead our business development efforts in Nigeria while managing a premier roster of artists and label clients. Working in close collaboration with the Director of A&R and Operations for Africa, you will champion our regional strategy, empowering creators to maximize their reach, audience growth, and revenue across multiple digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day label services for the Nigerian roster, ensuring seamless support throughout every release cycle from onboarding to royalty reporting.
- Plan and execute high-quality music and video releases with accurate metadata, ensuring full DSP compliance and timely delivery.
- Forge strategic partnerships and commercial opportunities with Digital Service Providers, brands, media outlets, and key industry stakeholders to expand our market presence.
- Utilize streaming, platform, and audience analytics to generate actionable insights and optimize monetization across YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms.
- Support the local team's development and foster cross-functional collaboration to resolve distribution challenges and drive cross-market growth.
- 3 to 5 years of senior-level music industry experience, or 5+ years in distribution, record labels, DSPs, artist management, A&R, or label services.
- Deep-rooted knowledge of and established relationships within the Nigerian music industry, supported by a proven track record in client management and business development.
- Strong understanding of current pop culture trends, streaming analytics, and digital monetization tools with an entrepreneurial, proactive mindset.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in managing teams and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with a creative approach to problem-solving.
