We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our professional healthcare team on a full-time, on-site basis. In this vital role, you will perform routine and specialized diagnostic tests, ensuring accurate and timely results that directly impact patient diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care monitoring.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on various patient specimens with high precision.
- Prepare, process, and manage biological samples while adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain sophisticated laboratory equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Participate actively in quality control and assurance activities to validate test outcomes.
- Collaborate seamlessly with clinicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
- Document all analytical results accurately in compliance with regulatory and hospital guidelines.
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) degree.
- Valid professional license and certification as a Lab Scientist in Nigeria.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical laboratory experience in a hospital setting.
- Proficient knowledge of hematology, microbiology, or clinical chemistry methodologies.
- Strong understanding of infection prevention, biosafety protocols, and waste management.
