Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals Complex (OAUTHC) is seeking a dedicated and qualified medical professional to join our esteemed institution as a Junior Resident in Anatomy & Molecular Pathology. This prestigious Junior Residency Training Programme is designed to equip medical officers with advanced clinical, diagnostic, and research skills, leading to the award of prestigious professional fellowships.
Key Responsibilities- Participate actively in the diagnostic services of the Department of Anatomy & Molecular Pathology.
- Conduct thorough post-mortem examinations and surgical pathology evaluations under senior supervision.
- Engage in departmental clinical meetings, academic seminars, and research activities.
- Provide compassionate patient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
- Prepare for and successfully complete professional fellowship examinations within the stipulated training period.
- Possess an MBBS or MBChB degree or an equivalent recognized medical qualification.
- Hold full registration and a current practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Provide evidence of completion, exemption, or exclusion from the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
- Holding a pass in the relevant primary examination of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or West African Postgraduate Medical College is an advantage but not compulsory.
