We are currently seeking a dynamic and analytical Journey Analyst to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in monitoring, coordinating, and analyzing truck journeys to ensure safe, timely, compliant, and efficient deliveries. You will provide real-time support to drivers while leveraging operational data to identify trends, improve route efficiency, reduce transit costs, and elevate our overall logistics performance.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and monitor real-time truck movements utilizing advanced telematics and journey management systems to guarantee flawless execution.
- Identify, escalate, and promptly resolve operational exceptions, transit delays, and route deviations.
- Collect, analyze, and report daily journey metrics and Key Performance Indicators to continuously improve fleet efficiency.
- Coordinate seamlessly with drivers, dispatchers, and delivery teams to maintain high safety compliance and adherence to haulage schedules.
- Leverage data analytics tools to generate actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and operational growth.
- Bachelor's degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of proven professional experience in logistics, fleet operations, journey management, or transport coordination roles.
- Practical, hands-on experience using GPS, fleet tracking software, and modern journey management systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong capacity for maintaining accurate operational records and audit trails.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data analytics platforms, and emerging AI tools will be a distinct advantage.
