About the Role
De Tastee Group (Tastee Fried Chicken - TFC) is looking for a skilled and proactive IT Support Officer to join our dynamic technology team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for all technical inquiries, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of cash registers, POS printers, servers, networks, and computer systems across our multiple outlets and corporate offices in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain Sage Pastel Evolution servers across 14 outlets, the warehouse, TPL, CPU, and event centers to ensure continuous accounting operations.
- Manage POS terminals, receipt printers, and peripheral hardware to guarantee uninterrupted customer service transactions.
- Administer the corporate mail server to facilitate reliable inter- and intra-departmental communication.
- Oversee network routers and switches to maintain robust connectivity between the head office and all branch locations.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize computer hardware and software to minimize operational downtime and replacement costs.
- Install and configure IT equipment, multimedia gadgets, and communication tools for executive meetings and corporate events.
- Train staff members on the proper handling and usage of computer systems, POS machines, printers, and application software.
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on IT support and troubleshooting experience, preferably within the hospitality or retail sector.
- Strong understanding of System Hardware and Windows Operating Systems (Client and Server).
- Working knowledge of IP networking, system applications, and database environments.
- Familiarity with SaaS and PaaS solutions will be an added advantage.
