Key Responsibilities- Monitor network traffic and applications for suspicious activity, security alerts, and potential breaches.
- Manage user access controls, including account provisioning, password resets, and periodic access reviews.
- Deploy critical security patches, software updates, and antivirus definitions across company endpoints.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for all company hardware, software assets, and IT licenses.
- Provide frontline troubleshooting and basic technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist the incident response team by gathering, organizing, and analyzing technical system logs.
- Promote internal security awareness by educating staff on phishing prevention, password hygiene, and safe data handling.
- B.Sc., B.Tech, or HND in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
- Must have successfully completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
- Foundational understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS), operating systems (Windows and Linux), firewalls, and encryption.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective helpdesk support and user awareness training.
