We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Project Manager to join our growing team in Nigeria and drive the successful delivery of complex technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end IT project delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, budget, and quality standards.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and success criteria with relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, resource plans, and delivery roadmaps.
- Lead cross-functional project teams, coordinating resources, responsibilities, dependencies, and priorities.
- Establish effective project communication and stakeholder-management plans to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare project presentations, status reports, dashboards, and steering committee updates, highlighting progress, risks, and issues.
- Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and opportunities, escalating critical matters as required.
- Manage project scope, schedule, resource, and cost changes through appropriate change-control processes.
- Coordinate UAT, implementation, transition, handover, and the development of supporting documentation.
- Obtain client acceptance and sign-off for project deliverables, manage client relationships, and support business growth initiatives.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional Project Management certification required, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in IT Project Management within technology, consulting, systems integration, or digital transformation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver projects of varying size and complexity.
- Strong knowledge and practical application of project management methodologies, governance, and best practices.
- Proven client-facing and stakeholder-management experience with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience with project management tools, requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, and implementation.
