About the Role

Fiphs Infrastructure Limited is a leading indigenous infrastructure development company addressing Africa's infrastructure deficit through innovative solutions and world-expertise. We are currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and skilled IT Officer to join our dynamic team and ensure the seamless operation of our technological infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network operating system issues efficiently.
  • Monitor and maintain IT systems to ensure maximum uptime, optimal performance, and robust security.
  • Maintain an accurate, up-to-date inventory of all IT assets, including hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Document internal processes, technical procedures, and comprehensive troubleshooting guides.
  • Provide prompt, reliable user support by resolving network, connectivity, desktop, and application issues via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Manage the Helpdesk system by creating, tracking, and resolving IT support tickets and work orders.
  • Install, configure, and maintain office peripherals such as printers, scanners, and external drives.
  • Collaborate with the Design and Brand team to periodically update content on the company website.
  • Oversee user account management, including setting up new users, configuring emails, and assigning access permissions.
  • Support routine maintenance tasks for servers, routers, switches, and other critical network devices.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related quantitative fields.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience providing technical support in a Windows and Exchange network environment.
  • Proven ability to effectively troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating system challenges.
  • Hands-on experience resolving malware infections, printing errors, and email system failures.
  • Familiarity with diagnosing Internet connectivity issues across ISP, switch, server, and desktop levels.
  • Strong interpersonal, written communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive mindset with a strong eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
