About the Role
Value Edge Management Service Limited (VEMSL) is a leading Nigerian business management consulting practice established in 2010, with offices in Lagos and Abuja. We are currently seeking a strategic and results-driven IT & ERP Implementation Manager to lead our digital transformation agenda and serve as the custodian of our enterprise resource planning ecosystem. In this pivotal role, you will ensure our technology infrastructure seamlessly supports operational efficiency, robust financial control, and data-driven decision-making across multiple business locations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the implementation, optimization, and administration of the organization's ERP platform across multiple locations.
- Ensure effective utilization of core ERP modules including Sales, HR, Inventory, Finance, and Fixed Assets.
- Oversee ERP integration for central production, logistics, and internal stock transfers.
- Develop real-time management dashboards for sales performance, cost analysis, and labor productivity.
- Enforce strong data governance standards and ensure alignment between system records and physical operations.
- Collaborate with internal audit teams to deploy system-based controls and fraud monitoring tools.
- Manage retail technology infrastructure including POS systems, scanners, printers, and network connectivity.
- Ensure system reliability through business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
- Lead ERP training initiatives and coordinate technology vendors and consultants.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 7 to 10 years of professional IT experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end ERP implementations such as ERPNext, Odoo, or SAP B1.
- Demonstrated experience in multi-location retail, manufacturing, or food service environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of Python, MariaDB, and Linux server environments.
- Relevant professional certifications such as ERPNext/Frappe, PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or COBIT are strongly advantageous.
