About the Role
Muslim Community Centre (MCC) is a leading educational organization dedicated to providing excellent Islamic and Western education anchored on moral rectitude. We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Islamic Studies Teacher to join our team and contribute to our mission of educational excellence across our multiple institutions.
As an Islamic Studies Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping students' understanding of Islamic principles, values, and knowledge. You will work within our established network of institutions, including Fou'ad Lababidi Islamic Academy, College of Arabic and Islamic Studies, Institute for Islamic Education, and our Tahfeezul Qur'an Programme.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging Islamic Studies lessons aligned with curriculum standards
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans and educational materials
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
- Create an inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain academic excellence
- Support student character development and moral growth
- Participate in school activities and community engagement programmes
- Utilize modern educational technology and e-learning facilities
- Bachelor's Degree or NCE in Islamic Studies, Islamic Education, or related fields
- Proficiency in computer literacy and educational technology
- Teaching Registration Council (TRC) certificate is advantageous
- Previous teaching experience is preferred
