About the Role
Cavista is seeking an experienced, innovative iOS Engineer II, passionate about building secure, scalable, user-centric mobile financial solutions. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality iOS applications that support digital banking, payments, and other financial services in a dynamic global environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance iOS applications supporting digital financial products including payments, banking, lending, and investments.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and compliance teams to deliver seamless mobile experiences.
- Build and enhance mobile applications using Swift and modern iOS frameworks, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Integrate applications with RESTful APIs, payment gateways, and third-party financial services platforms.
- Implement robust security controls, including authentication, encryption, and secure data storage aligned with PCI-DSS and the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, production incidents, and performance bottlenecks while ensuring high reliability.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience building mobile applications in fintech or heavily regulated environments.
- Strong proficiency in Swift, iOS SDK, and native iOS development with deep knowledge of MVVM and Clean Architecture.
- Expertise in secure coding, mobile security best practices, API integration, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and App Store release processes.
