About the Role
BorderlessHR is recruiting a dynamic and results-driven Investment and Funds Mobilization Manager on behalf of our client, a leading financial institution offering specialized financial solutions including working capital, lease finance, and loan syndication. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving liquidity by sourcing funds from individual and corporate clients, promoting robust investment products, and expanding our funding portfolio across the Nigerian market.
Key Responsibilities- Mobilize funds from high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients to meet critical institutional liquidity targets.
- Identify, develop, and penetrate new markets and funding sources to drive continuous portfolio growth.
- Execute strategic business development initiatives, including cold calling, warm calling, and proactive client acquisition.
- Build, nurture, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with investors to ensure high client retention and repeat investments.
- Recommend profitable investment opportunities for excess liquidity and ensure strategic diversification of funding sources.
- Monitor macroeconomic and financial market trends to provide actionable insights for treasury decisions.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on fund mobilization performance for internal stakeholders and management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or any related discipline; a Master’s degree or professional certification is an added advantage.
- 3 to 7 years of proven, hands-on experience in treasury, investment banking, or funds mobilization.
- Demonstrated track record in client acquisition, treasury product sales, and meeting aggressive revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of financial products, treasury instruments, and investment analysis.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
