About the Role
Veritaspeak Consultancy is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Inventory & Stock Control Officer to join our team. Key Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain accurate records of all inventory and stock items, including detergents, chemicals, packaging materials, and laundry supplies.
- Receive, inspect, record, and properly store incoming supplies while maintaining proper documentation.
- Track stock movement and usage, conduct regular stock counts, and reconcile physical stock with inventory records.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate timely replenishment requests while identifying damaged, missing, expired, or excess stock.
- Prepare regular inventory reports and work with management to improve stock utilization and minimize wastage, losses, and unnecessary expenses.
- Ensure the store and stock area is clean, organized, secure, and compliant with company inventory and stock-control procedures.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in inventory management, stock control, warehouse operations, or a related role.
- BSc or HND in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a relevant field.
- Strong knowledge of inventory and stock management procedures, including stock monitoring, reconciliation, and documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other inventory or record-keeping tools, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to identify discrepancies, prevent shortages, wastage, and unauthorized usage while maintaining accurate records.
- Must be trustworthy, responsible, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Applicants must reside in Gudu, Gaduwa, Apo, or a nearby location, with flexibility for branch posting based on operational requirements.
