About the Role
The Dangote Group is looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented Inventory Finance Manager to lead our inventory finance functions at our operational headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria. This critical role ensures the accuracy of all inventory-related financial transactions, drives cost optimization, and maintains compliance with financial regulations across our multi-billion Naira operations.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee inventory accounting processes, including valuation, reporting, and reconciliations.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to guarantee accuracy and completeness in financial statements.
- Collaborate closely with supply chain and operations teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce operational costs.
- Analyze inventory metrics and provide senior management with actionable financial insights.
- Develop and implement robust inventory finance policies aligned with industry best practices and internal controls.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification such as ACA or ACCA is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant finance experience with a strong focus on inventory management.
- Proficiency in financial software, particularly SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel.
