About the Role

We are currently recruiting a proactive and analytical Inventory Control Officer to join our dynamic operations team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining optimal stock levels, ensuring seamless supply chain operations, and safeguarding company assets through rigorous inventory tracking and reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate daily inventory records and ensure all transactions are properly documented in the system.
- Monitor and process stock transfers seamlessly across warehouses and retail boutiques.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and support periodic physical stock counts.
- Reconcile physical stock against system records to identify and investigate inventory discrepancies and variances.
- Monitor overall stock movements and promptly escalate unusual losses or discrepancies to management.
- Prepare comprehensive inventory reports to aid in strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with the Warehouse, Finance, Retail, and Operations teams to streamline inventory processes.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of proven professional experience in inventory control or supply chain management.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using ERP systems and modern inventory management software.
- Prior working experience in the retail or FMCG sector is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
