About the Role
Montaigne Place, Nigeria's premier luxury cosmetics, wellbeing, and fragrance company, is seeking a diligent and qualified Internal Auditor to join our dynamic team in Lagos. In this vital role, you will provide independent assurance on our governance, risk management, and internal control processes, ensuring our operations continue to reflect the highest standards of integrity and sophistication.
Key Responsibilities- Execute the complete audit cycle encompassing risk management and operational control effectiveness, financial reliability, and regulatory compliance.
- Examine and evaluate accounting systems and procedures to proactively identify and mitigate risks of fraud, error, or resource wastage.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, document the review process, and formulate strategic recommendations for operational improvements.
- Conduct regular evaluations of financial systems, management procedures, and internal controls to guarantee maximum organizational efficiency.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with all management levels, staff members, and external stakeholders to deliver unbiased perspectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related professional discipline.
- Recognized professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIA is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven internal audit or financial review experience, preferably within retail, luxury, or fast-paced corporate environments.
- Exceptional analytical skills with deep attention to detail and high proficiency in financial data analysis.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with impeccable integrity.
