Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive financial, operational, and regulatory compliance audits across various departments.
- Review internal control systems, identify potential risks, and recommend actionable improvements.
- Carry out rigorous pre-payment and post-payment audits to ensure financial accuracy.
- Prepare clear, detailed audit reports and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.
- Support the ongoing development of audit policies, procedures, and risk management frameworks.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external auditors during audit cycles.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in internal audit or public accounting.
- Active ICAN qualification or membership in an IFAC-recognised professional body.
- Proven experience in designing, evaluating, and reviewing internal controls.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio) and Sage accounting software.
- Strong analytical, communication, report-writing, and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of IT and e-business auditing practices.
