About the Role
Davidorlah Farms is a leading pineapple farm estate developer and management service company specializing in commercial pineapple farming and the nationwide distribution of fresh, healthy fruits and vegetables in Nigeria. We are currently seeking a meticulous and dedicated Internal Auditor to join our growing team and help safeguard our financial integrity and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive risk-based annual and periodic internal audit plans for management review and approval.
- Assess the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls across all business processes.
- Review financial transactions, supporting documentation, expense claims, payment requests, receipts, and bank reconciliations.
- Monitor procurement activities to ensure strict compliance with approved company policies, budgets, and authorization thresholds.
- Identify and evaluate financial, operational, compliance, and reputational risks within the organization.
- Deliver practical, actionable recommendations that strengthen controls, mitigate risks, and enhance overall business processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field with a minimum of a Second Class Lower classification.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in internal audit or a closely related financial role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, internal control frameworks, risk management, and audit procedures.
- Possession of recognized professional certifications such as ICAN, ACCA, CIA, or ACA is a distinct advantage.
