We are currently seeking an analytical and dedicated Internal Audit Officer to join our professional team and help maintain our high standards of corporate governance, financial integrity, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate financial transactions, general ledgers, and accounting records for accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts, depot stock checks, and asset verifications.
  • Audit procurement processes, vendor selections, and payment disbursements to ensure value for money.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Identify operational risks, control deficiencies, and potential fraudulent activities within business processes.
  • Verify payroll inputs, employee records, and human resource-related financial transactions.
  • Recommend practical improvements to internal controls, accounting systems, and operational workflows.
  • Prepare comprehensive, objective audit reports and follow up on management action plans for resolution.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIA is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of relevant internal or external audit experience, preferably within the oil and gas, manufacturing, or downstream sectors.
  • Strong understanding of auditing standards, financial regulations, and internal control frameworks.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and enterprise resource planning software.
  • High level of integrity, professional ethics, and excellent communication skills.
