About the Role
ExCare Services Limited, a leading provider of pharmaceutical, laboratory, and immunization services, is looking for a detail-oriented Internal Audit Executive to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in safeguarding our assets, optimizing inventory management, and ensuring strict adherence to industry regulations across our pharmacy, supermarket, and other operational business units.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct scheduled and unannounced stock counts, rigorously investigating variances to identify losses, damages, expiry, and overall stock shrinkage.
- Monitor inventory movement, stock adjustments, and product expiry while enforcing compliance with First Expiry, First Out (FEFO) principles.
- Enforce corporate cash evacuation policies and thoroughly investigate operational incidents identified through regular CCTV footage reviews.
- Ensure continuous compliance with key regulatory standards, including NAFDAC and Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) guidelines.
- Audit the dispensing of controlled drugs and maintain accurate, comprehensive records and compliance reports.
- Recommend and implement practical, proactive measures to minimize business losses and fortify existing internal control frameworks.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Science, Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in internal audit, loss prevention, inventory control, or regulatory compliance within healthcare, retail pharmacy, or supermarket environments.
- Solid working knowledge of modern inventory management systems, FEFO principles, and relevant Nigerian regulatory standards.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) and advanced inventory management software platforms.
