Ascentech Services Limited is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Infection Control Nurse to join a premier healthcare facility. In this vital role, you will be responsible for safeguarding patients, staff, and visitors by preventing and controlling the spread of infectious diseases. Key Responsibilities- Monitor and enforce strict infection prevention protocols across all clinical and non-clinical departments.
- Conduct continuous surveillance of hospital-acquired infections and analyze epidemiological trends alongside microbiologists.
- Ensure total compliance with national and international regulatory standards while supporting healthcare accreditation initiatives.
- Identify potential infection risks promptly, implement effective containment measures, and thoroughly investigate any exposure incidents.
- Maintain accurate medical records, prepare detailed analytical reports, and communicate vital infection risks to key stakeholders.
- Participate actively in infection control audits, clinical research projects, and institutional quality improvement initiatives.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with active professional standing.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven professional experience specializing in infection prevention and control within a healthcare setting.
- Possession of a Certification in Infection Control (CIC) or a demonstrated willingness to obtain the certification within the first year of employment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern infection control standards, accompanied by exceptional communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from NGN 400,000 to NGN 700,000 (approximately PHP 56,000 to PHP 98,000).
