About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a premier technical support and recruitment leader in the Nigerian oil and gas industry. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Industrial Hygiene Lab Microbiologist to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will ensure high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance by conducting rigorous microbiological analysis, industrial hygiene risk assessments, and comprehensive facility inspections across multiple operational sites.
Key Responsibilities- Perform advanced microbiological analysis in the industrial hygiene laboratory and report findings promptly.
- Conduct food and water sampling, analysis, and safety evaluations across various operational locations.
- Perform industrial hygiene risk assessments, ergonomic workstation evaluations, and indoor air quality monitoring.
- Execute hygiene inspections on contractor facilities, vessels, barges, and catering facilities.
- Participate actively in HSE management system audits and committee meetings.
- Develop and deliver industrial hygiene training programs for personnel and interns.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Microbiology; a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of three years of post-qualification experience in a similar industrial hygiene or laboratory role within the oil and gas or related sector.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical data clearly.
