About the Role
A-Star Vanda Investment and Trading CO. Ltd, in partnership with Beifa Africa, is a leading manufacturing group specializing in high-quality stationery products such as pencils, pens, markers, cellotapes, and craft tools tailored for the African market. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Industrial Electrician to join our growing factory team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the electrical integrity and operational efficiency of our production lines, ensuring a safe and productive working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, control panels, and heavy machinery within the factory environment.
- Troubleshoot and quickly resolve electrical faults to minimize operational downtime and maximize plant productivity.
- Conduct scheduled routine inspections and preventive maintenance programs on all industrial electrical equipment.
- Ensure that all electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance activities strictly comply with safety standards, industry regulations, and company procedures.
- Collaborate with other technical and production team members to optimize machinery performance and support factory expansion projects.
- OND, HND, BSc, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Proven professional experience working as an electrician, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in a factory or heavy industrial environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, control panels, and advanced industrial machinery.
- Exceptional ability to diagnose complex electrical faults, solve problems methodically, and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols and manufacturing best practices.
