About the Role
Moniepoint is a leading financial technology company digitizing Africa's real economy by building a comprehensive financial ecosystem for businesses. We are currently looking for a talented and creative Illustrator to join our User Experience, digital, and creative team. In this role, you will interpret complex briefs and translate abstract ideas into inspiring, marketable digital assets that resonate with our users and elevate our brand presence across Nigeria and beyond.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare rough draft illustrations according to project requirements and Moniepoint brand specifications.
- Create complete illustrations and refine design concepts using a wide range of colors, graphics, effects, and modern illustration software.
- Apply isometric techniques to add depth and perspective to complex visual shapes and product interfaces.
- Ensure that all digital illustrations meet exceptionally high quality, aesthetic, and color standards.
- Brainstorm collaboratively with the broader design team to introduce fresh creative ideas, patterns, visual styles, and concepts.
- Stay constantly up-to-date with emerging design techniques, industry trends, and graphics software.
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- At least 4 to 5 years of proven professional experience as an Illustrator, Graphic Designer, or in a similar visual design capacity.
- A robust and diverse portfolio showcasing a wide range of completed digital illustrations and creative problem-solving.
- Deep expertise in industry-standard design tools, particularly Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and computer-aided design software.
- Advanced drawing, painting, and digital artwork rendering skills with strong conceptual thinking abilities.
