About the Role
Street Souk is Africa's premier streetwear convention and fashion festival based in Lagos, Nigeria. Founded in 2018, it serves as a massive cultural melting pot celebrating African street fashion, music, skateboarding, and youth expression. We are currently looking for a dynamic Illustrator and Designer to create bold, engaging, and visually impactful work for our upcoming campaigns, digital platforms, products, and immersive festival experiences. If you have a passion for youth culture and a strong creative eye, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities- Create striking visual assets for upcoming projects, marketing campaigns, and our flagship annual convention.
- Design digital, social media, print, exclusive merchandise, and event assets that resonate with our target audience.
- Translate abstract creative concepts into powerful, polished visual designs.
- Collaborate closely with the creative and marketing teams to align on campaign goals.
- Adapt design outputs seamlessly across various digital and physical platforms while consistently meeting strict deadlines.
- Contribute fresh creative ideas, brainstorm innovative solutions, and elevate the overall brand aesthetic.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional design experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Specialized expertise in Graphic Design, Motion Design, Illustration, 3D Modeling, or Animation.
- Demonstrated strong creativity, aesthetic judgment, and meticulous attention to detail.
- High proficiency in industry-standard design software and creative suites.
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative, as well as collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- A robust portfolio showcasing relevant design, illustration, or multimedia projects is strictly required.
- Prior experience in the fashion, streetwear, or music industries will be considered a significant advantage.
