We are currently seeking a dynamic, passionate, and qualified IGCSE ICT Teacher to join our esteemed academic community and inspire our girls to excel in technology and computational thinking.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging, effective lesson plans aligned with the IGCSE and international curricula for Computer Science and ICT.
- Create a stimulating, inclusive learning environment that fosters a deep love of technology and innovation.
- Utilize diverse teaching methodologies, including hands-on coding projects and interactive discussions, to cater to various learning styles.
- Assess student progress rigorously and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous academic growth.
- Prepare learners effectively for external examinations including IGCSE, Checkpoint, WAEC, and A-Levels.
- Lead or co-lead extracurricular after-school coding, robotics, or mobile application development clubs.
- Integrate the latest technological advancements and programming languages into the daily curriculum.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of successful teaching experience in an international secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and proven experience teaching IGCSE ICT and Computer Science.
- Possession of a recognized teaching qualification and Cambridge IGCSE certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scratch, and Java.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
