We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced ICT Teacher to join our dynamic academic team in nurturing technologically skilled and responsible students.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and deliver comprehensive ICT lessons in accordance with the approved Nigerian secondary school curriculum.
- Teach essential computer operations, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and internet navigation.
- Organize and supervise practical computer laboratory sessions that develop hands-on digital skills.
- Educate students on responsible technology use, internet safety, and digital citizenship.
- Develop detailed lesson plans, assess student practical and theoretical performance, and maintain accurate academic records.
- Support the effective deployment of educational software, computers, and other digital teaching aids.
- Perform basic troubleshooting on computer hardware and software used during instructional periods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe computer laboratory environment promoting responsible equipment handling.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or approved qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Education, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant secondary school teaching experience.
- A recognized professional teaching qualification is an added advantage.
- Valid Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) registration or licence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, modern digital tools, and basic computer networking.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a computer laboratory and deliver engaging technology-based lessons.
- Prior knowledge of basic programming or coding is considered a strong advantage.
