About the Role
The Diocese of Evo Education Board is a principal administrative organ of the Diocese of Evo, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), situated in Rivers State, Nigeria. Formally established to govern, standardize, and advance the educational apostolate of the Diocese, the Board exercises comprehensive administrative and academic oversight over all missionary institutions under diocesan ownership. We are currently looking for a dynamic and tech-savvy ICT Officer to join our expanding team and drive technological advancement across our schools.
Key Responsibilities- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot the hardware, software, and network infrastructure across diocesan educational institutions.
- Provide reliable technical support to teachers, administrative staff, and students to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Administer school management software, databases, and digital learning platforms utilized within the board.
- Implement robust cybersecurity measures and maintain regular data backups to safeguard institutional information.
- Train staff and students on the effective use of educational technology and software applications.
- Assist in the procurement, installation, and inventory management of new IT equipment and supplies.
- Minimum of a Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant technical field.
- Proven hands-on experience in hardware maintenance, networking, and software troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and proactive approach to technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to assist users of varying technical proficiency.
