About the Role
The Diocese of Evo Education Board, a principal administrative organ of the Diocese of Evo, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), invites applications for the position of ICT Officer. Based in Obio-Akpor, Rivers State, you will play a crucial role in managing and advancing the technological infrastructure supporting all missionary educational institutions under diocesan governance.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain ICT systems and networks across diocesan educational institutions
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Develop and enforce IT policies, security protocols, and data management procedures
- Conduct training and capacity building for staff on technology utilization
- Manage IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with data protection and cybersecurity standards
- Coordinate digital transformation initiatives to enhance educational delivery
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems and technical specifications
- Minimum Diploma in Information and Communication Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience in ICT infrastructure management or systems administration
- Strong knowledge of networking, servers, and database management
