About the Role
BethâNeills Playhouse & Preschool, a premier faith-based early childhood education center located in Calabar, Cross River State, is seeking a dedicated ICT Instructor to join our passionate teaching team. Under the visionary leadership of Chief Executive Officer Lucy O'Neill, we have established ourselves as a trusted provider of quality early childhood education and childcare services. This role offers an exciting opportunity to introduce information and communication technology concepts to young learners in a supportive, nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver age-appropriate ICT lessons utilizing interactive and engaging teaching methodologies
- Integrate technology tools and digital resources into the curriculum to enhance learning outcomes
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support individual development
- Maintain a safe and organized learning environment with proper equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with other educators to ensure seamless curriculum implementation
- Foster digital literacy skills and promote responsible technology use among students
- Document learner achievements and maintain detailed records
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in ICT or related field
- National Certificate in Education (NCE) preferred
- Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification or eligibility
- Proven experience teaching young learners
- Proficiency with modern educational technology platforms
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to child-centered, inclusive education
