About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a technically competent and driven Junior Service Engineer specializing in HVAC systems to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting HVAC installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities while ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Support the comprehensive installation, maintenance, and repair of various HVAC and air-conditioning systems.
- Diagnose complex equipment faults promptly and assist in implementing effective engineering solutions.
- Supervise field technicians during routine maintenance, critical repairs, and system commissioning activities.
- Conduct regular site visits across project locations to provide hands-on technical support and resolve equipment issues.
- Monitor all service operations to guarantee superior workmanship, strict safety compliance, and timely project delivery.
- Prepare detailed technical reports regarding service activities, equipment performance, and executed repairs.
- Coordinate seamlessly with external customers and internal engineering teams to drive exceptional service delivery.
- Maintain accurate digital and physical records of all maintenance activities, service requests, and equipment history.
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on professional experience in HVAC, air-conditioning, or related technical service environments.
- Solid foundational knowledge of HVAC installation, preventive maintenance, fault troubleshooting, and system commissioning.
- Demonstrated ability to identify equipment malfunctions and collaborate on technical problem-solving.
- Proven capacity or strong potential to supervise technicians and manage field service operations efficiently.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel to various project sites as operational demands require.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills with a collaborative team-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in essential productivity tools, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting and documentation.
