About the Role
Aldelia Limited is seeking a dedicated and proactive HSE Supervision Service professional to join our team in Port Harcourt. In this role, you will serve as the site-based Health, Safety, and Environment focal point, driving contractor compliance, monitoring site activities, and ensuring all infrastructure and development projects are executed under the safest possible conditions. Key Responsibilities- Monitor contractor and subcontractor implementation of approved Project HSE Plans, general specifications, and contractual requirements.
- Conduct regular site HSE audits, inspections, and pre-mobilization checks for construction equipment and vehicles.
- Review contractor work method statements, risk assessments, and ensure valid Permit to Work coverage for all site activities.
- Initiate the STOP CARD procedure immediately when unsafe acts or hazardous conditions are observed.
- Assist in accident and incident investigations, track corrective actions, and support emergency preparedness drills.
- Facilitate HSE inductions for all site personnel and actively participate in HSE committee meetings and awareness campaigns.
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Engineering, Physical Science, or a related discipline.
- Formal HSE training accompanied by a recognized HSE qualification or certification.
- 0 to 2 years of relevant working experience in oil and gas production projects or industrial construction environments.
- Strong working knowledge of risk assessment techniques, permit-to-work systems, and site HSE surveillance.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills with fluency in English.
