About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic, proactive, and safety-conscious HSE Officer to join our growing team. In this entry-level role, you will play a vital part in supporting daily health, safety, and environment operations, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and fostering a zero-incident culture across our facilities and construction sites.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in planning and coordinating comprehensive HSE training sessions for staff, covering safety laws, hazard awareness, and proper safety equipment usage.
- Monitor worksites to ensure all employees and contractors strictly adhere to internal policies and statutory regulatory safety standards.
- Support regular HSE audits, equipment inspections, and compliance checks to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures promptly.
- Participate actively in incident investigations, contributing detailed reports and actionable preventive action plans.
- Prepare and present accurate monthly safety reports and incident findings to the management team.
- Assess workplace risks continuously and facilitate the implementation of effective engineering and administrative control measures.
- Bachelor's Degree in Sciences, Engineering, Environmental Studies, or a related discipline.
- Active membership in a recognized professional HSE body (e.g., HSE NISHS, NEBOSH, or equivalent).
- 1 to 3 years of practical experience in occupational health and safety management, preferably within construction or engineering environments.
- Solid understanding of local and international occupational health and safety principles and statutory regulations.
- Strong commitment to safe working practices, with the ability to work independently, solve problems, and overcome on-site obstacles.
- Self-motivated, highly reliable, and possessing excellent professional communication skills.
