About the Role
Aldelia Limited is a global recruitment and workforce management specialist providing tailored staffing solutions to the oil and gas industry. We are currently recruiting a dedicated HSE Methods & Reporting Engineer to enhance our Health, Safety, and Environment management systems and promote a proactive safety culture across our operations in Nigeria.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe HSE Methods & Reporting Engineer will play a pivotal role in maintaining high safety standards across all operational sites. Core duties include:
- Assist in implementing and improving the company HSE Management System (CMS) to safeguard personnel, the environment, and operational assets.
- Prepare, update, and manage internal and external HSE reporting, including daily, weekly, monthly, and annual metrics.
- Administer safety databases such as Synergi and Perfect Day, ensuring data quality control and user support.
- Lead and participate in incident investigations, audits, and safety inspections on company and contractor sites.
- Deliver HSE awareness training and Synergi familiarisation sessions to staff and contractors.
- Contribute to the annual HSE improvement plan and prepare HSE inputs for weekly business reviews and monthly executive meetings.
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemical Science, HSE, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an HSE role with direct operational exposure within the oil and gas industry.
- Sound knowledge of HSE management systems, contractor HSE management, and industry tools such as Synergi.
- Proven expertise in technical writing, incident investigation, auditing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across multi-cultural organizations and diverse stakeholders.
