About the Role
TeamAce Limited is partnering with a leading manufacturing client to find an exceptional HR Director (Plant & Factory) to spearhead our human resources operations. In this executive position, you will play a pivotal role in shaping workforce strategy, driving organizational effectiveness, and fostering a high-performance culture across our industrial facilities in Nigeria. Key Responsibilities- Partner directly with the Owner and senior leadership on comprehensive workforce planning, organizational structuring, manpower requirements, and strategic succession planning.
- Lead end-to-end HR operations across the plant and factory, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, training, and employee engagement.
- Manage complex industrial and employee relations, actively resolving grievances, disciplinary matters, and union negotiations while ensuring strict adherence to labour laws and industry standards.
- Develop and implement tailored HR policies and governance systems to mitigate people-related risks and support continuous operational continuity.
- Provide actionable workforce analytics, compensation insights, and strategic recommendations to optimize large, diverse workforces in a labour-intensive setting.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline.
- A Master's degree and a recognized professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM, or equivalent are mandatory requirements.
- Minimum of 15 to 25 years of progressive HR experience, with a proven and substantial background within the manufacturing, plant, or factory sector.
- Demonstrated experience operating at the HR Director or Head of HR level, specifically working alongside business Owners, CEOs, or Managing Directors.
- Expertise in managing large, diverse, and blue-collar workforces with exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution capabilities.
