About the Role

Ganfeng Lithium Industry Limited is a leading mining and mineral processing company based in Nigeria, specializing in the exploration, extraction, and processing of lithium. We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and people-oriented HR Assistant to support the day-to-day Human Resources and Administrative functions of our growing organization. The successful candidate will work closely with management and employees to ensure efficient HR operations, seamless employee support, accurate documentation, and effective administrative coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the end-to-end recruitment, sourcing, and onboarding process for new hires.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation.
  • Assist with attendance tracking, leave management, staff welfare, and employee-related matters.
  • Prepare official HR letters, internal memos, periodic reports, and documentation.
  • Support employee relations and help address staff concerns in a professional manner.
  • Assist with payroll-related documentation, PAYE, pension administration, and other statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate staff training, orientation programs, and employee development activities.
  • Support performance management cycles and probation reviews.
  • Assist with expatriate employee documentation and immigration-related processes where required.
  • Liaise with relevant government agencies and external service providers when necessary.
  • Support general office administration and execute other HR and administrative duties assigned by management.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee records and company information at all times.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant HR and administrative experience in a structured environment.
  • Good knowledge of Nigerian labour laws, HR practices, and employment procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and general office productivity tools.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and follow-up capabilities.
  • High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with expatriate employees or in industrial sectors like mining, manufacturing, or construction is a strong advantage.
