We are currently seeking a courteous, reliable, and customer-focused Hotel Porter to join our dedicated hospitality team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating a warm first impression and ensuring our guests feel valued and comfortable from the moment they arrive.
Key Responsibilities- Greet all arriving guests warmly and provide professional luggage handling services.
- Escort guests to their rooms, offering helpful information regarding hotel facilities, amenities, and services.
- Assist smoothly with loading and unloading luggage during the check-in and check-out processes.
- Deliver messages, parcels, and room service items promptly to guest rooms.
- Maintain the cleanliness, order, and visual appeal of the lobby and main entrance areas.
- Collaborate with the front desk team to address guest requests, inquiries, and special needs.
- Arrange reliable local transportation or provide clear directions to guests when requested.
- Report any guest concerns, maintenance issues, lost items, or suspicious activities to management immediately.
- Minimum of an SSCE, OND, or equivalent educational qualification.
- Prior working experience in a hospitality, hotel, or customer service environment is a strong advantage.
- Excellent verbal communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Naturally friendly, polite, and professional demeanor with a strong customer-first mindset.
- Physically fit with the stamina required to stand for long periods and lift or carry heavy luggage.
- High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
