Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate daily records of all financial transactions, income, expenses, payments, and receipts.
- Reconcile daily revenue from rooms, restaurants, bars, events, and other revenue centers against multiple payment channels.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable, tracking supplier payments and outstanding corporate accounts.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and manage petty cash and operational payments.
- Assist management in preparing budgets, monitoring expenditures, and identifying financial leakages or unnecessary expenses.
- Prepare or verify staff payroll, ensuring accurate calculations of salaries, allowances, and statutory deductions.
- Collaborate with inventory and purchasing teams to monitor food, beverage, and operational costs.
- Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to guide management decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax obligations and support internal and external audits.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications such as ACA or ACCA are a strong advantage.
- Proven work experience as a Hotel Accountant or in a similar financial role within the hospitality sector.
- In-depth knowledge of hotel management software, accounting packages, and POS systems.
- Strong understanding of financial controls, revenue reconciliation, and audit processes.
- Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to detail and strong numerical proficiency.
