About the Role
The Signature College of Nursing Sciences (TESCON), a premier private healthcare institution located in Nasarawa State just minutes from the FCT, is seeking a dedicated and mature professional to join our campus community. We are currently looking for a responsible Hostel Warden to supervise our female students, maintain a peaceful living environment, and support their overall safety, welfare, and accommodation needs.
Key Responsibilities- Safeguard the safety, welfare, and general well-being of all female hostel residents.
- Maintain discipline and ensure strict compliance with college hostel rules and regulations.
- Supervise students and foster a clean, secure, and conducive living environment for academic success.
- Monitor daily hostel activities and oversee the proper use and maintenance of facility amenities.
- Listen and attend to student concerns, promptly reporting any critical incidents or welfare matters to college authorities.
- Keep accurate records of hostel operations, visitors, and attendance while performing other assigned administrative duties.
- Minimum of a National Diploma (ND) in Hospitality Management or a closely related field.
- Candidates with a Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) and proven, relevant practical experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in hostel supervision, student affairs, caregiving, or related student welfare roles is a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrated integrity, emotional maturity, patience, and exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
- Firm ability to maintain discipline professionally and fairly.
- Willingness to reside and work on-site within the college hostel when required.
