About the Role
Misan & Co is an upscale, all-inclusive hospitality and intimate events studio designed around curated dining experiences, content creation, and small community gatherings in Palmgrove and Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. We are looking for an exceptional Hospitality Operations Manager to take full ownership of daily business operations, lead our dynamic team, and consistently deliver world-class service. In this role, you will seamlessly manage the entire client journey from initial enquiry and venue viewings to flawless event execution and post-event care, all while protecting our brand assets and optimizing operating efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the end-to-end guest journey, establishing rigorous standards for welcoming clients, conducting professional viewings, and providing proactive service.
- Oversee timely responses across Instagram, WhatsApp, and telephone enquiries while maintaining accurate CRM records and booking calendars.
- Create comprehensive event briefs, coordinate vendor access, supervise decor execution, and ensure every event meets our exact quality standards.
- Maintain venue readiness through daily cleanliness checks, asset care, stock replenishment, and proactive safety hazard identification.
- Lead, train, and mentor the team by setting weekly work plans, enforcing grooming and punctuality standards, and fostering a culture of accountability.
- Drive commercial success by meeting booking targets, managing operational budgets, preventing waste, and delivering detailed weekly performance reports.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant hospitality experience, with at least 1 year in a dedicated team leadership role.
- Strong operational background in boutique hotels, upscale restaurants, or premium event spaces.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a warm, confident, and professional demeanor.
- Demonstrated proficiency in CRM systems, booking calendars, financial tracking, and operational reporting.
- Unmatched attention to detail, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to maintain composure under pressure.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is an added advantage.
