About the Role
The Dangote Group, Africa's leading diversified business conglomerate, is currently seeking a skilled and safety-conscious HEMM/HEMV/Dozer/Dumper Truck Operator to join our expanding operations in Nigeria. As a key player in our heavy-duty operations, you will contribute directly to our massive manufacturing, logistics, and infrastructure network by ensuring the safe and efficient transport of materials.
Key Responsibilities- Operate heavy earth-moving machinery (HEMM), heavy-duty motor vehicles (HEMV), dozers, and dumper trucks safely and efficiently in adherence to company policies and safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-operational inspections of vehicles and machinery, immediately reporting any mechanical malfunctions or safety hazards.
- Transport and dump materials to designated site locations while optimizing fuel efficiency and trip scheduling.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date operational logs, trip records, and fuel consumption monitoring reports.
- Coordinate regular vehicle servicing, perform routine cleaning, and assist with basic preventive maintenance tasks.
- Adhere strictly to all occupational health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, actively participating in mandatory safety training programs.
- Valid Class H driving license.
- Educational qualification options include SSCE with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, Trade Test II with 16 years of experience, Trade Test I with 8 years of experience, or a National Diploma (ND).
