About the Role
Gracebridge Children & Lifeline Health Foundation is a faith-led, non-profit organisation dedicated to transforming the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children. We are currently seeking passionate healthcare professionals to lend their expertise to our community health outreach programmes across Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo State. This rewarding volunteer opportunity allows you to use your professional skills to provide critical medical support, health education, and care to underserved families and children in need.
Key Responsibilities- Participate actively in community health outreaches and mobile clinic initiatives.
- Conduct basic health screenings, vital signs observations, and approved diagnostic tests such as malaria screening.
- Deliver impactful health education, disease prevention strategies, and maternal and child health awareness.
- Provide basic eye screening and promote visual health within local communities.
- Identify individuals requiring advanced medical attention and facilitate proper healthcare referrals.
- Ensure all clinical practices strictly align with GraceBridge safeguarding and health safety standards.
- Must be based in Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, or Imo State.
- Hold relevant professional registration, qualifications, or recognised training as a Doctor, Nurse, Midwife, Optometrist, Pharmacist, or Community Health Worker.
- Demonstrate high standards of professionalism, deep compassion, and commitment to underserved populations.
- Willingness to strictly adhere to confidentiality, safety policies, and organisational safeguarding procedures.
- Ability to provide valid identification and proof of professional credentials upon request.
