About the Role
Glovo is a fast-growing tech startup transforming the delivery landscape across Europe, Hispanic America, and Africa. We are currently looking for a dynamic, results-oriented Head of Growth to lead our marketing and user acquisition team in Nigeria. Reporting to the Africa Marketing & Growth Director and partnering closely with the Nigeria General Manager, you will own the local growth strategy to maximize brand presence, customer acquisition, and engagement while optimizing the marketing budget.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the local marketing strategy by adapting global playbooks to the Nigerian market and executing online and offline campaigns.
- Manage the country marketing budget and monitor key performance indicators to ensure efficient Customer Acquisition Costs (CAC).
- Apply quantitative and qualitative analysis to understand user behavior, identify growth opportunities, and track market dynamics.
- Establish high-impact local partnerships, manage media and social agencies, and build strong brand awareness.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, operations, product, and HQ growth teams to execute seamless product launches and feature rollouts.
- 8+ years of experience in growth, strategic leadership, high-growth tech environments, or top-tier strategy consulting.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving customer acquisition and engagement in dynamic markets.
- Strong strategic thinking, exceptional analytical skills, and hands-on leadership experience in complex environments.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills with full proficiency in English.
- Proficiency in G Suite and Microsoft Office applications for data analysis and reporting.
