About the Role
Tokiye Integrated Medical Service is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Finance and Control to lead our financial operations and ensure rigorous fiscal discipline. In this critical role, you will oversee financial reporting, regulatory compliance with bodies like the CBN and NDIC, budgeting, and internal controls to support our mission of elevating healthcare standards in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate general ledgers and prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure full compliance with IFRS, tax obligations, and regulatory frameworks including CBN and NDIC returns.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, variance analysis, and financial forecasting to drive strategic decisions.
- Oversee treasury back-office operations, bank reconciliations, and independent financial controls.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring swift resolution of audit findings and robust asset protection.
- Manage, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team to foster a culture of accuracy and accountability.
- BSc or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Mandatory professional membership such as ACA, ACCA, or ANAN; CITN or postgraduate degrees are an advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in banking, microfinance, or regulated financial institutions.
- Proven expertise in preparing regulatory returns, managing IFRS 9 implementations, and executing financial controls.
