About the Role
ARM Hold Co. is looking for an experienced and results-driven Head of Brokerage Operations to lead the end-to-end operating model for ARM Securities in Lagos, Nigeria. In this critical leadership role, you will coordinate trade operations, manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, and drive operational excellence across equities and fixed-income portfolios.
Key Responsibilities- Own the complete operating lifecycle for ARM Securities, encompassing KYC, trade execution support, settlement, reconciliations, and corporate actions.
- Serve as the single point of accountability for brokerage operations, defining and tracking rigorous service level agreements.
- Partner with IT and product teams to enhance digital onboarding platforms, automate manual processes, and resolve systemic discrepancies.
- Chair weekly operations and control reviews with Risk, Compliance, and Group Operations to mitigate risk and ensure seamless execution.
- Deliver comprehensive weekly and monthly management reports to executive leadership and the Board.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is advantageous.
- Minimum of 7 to 9 years of capital market experience in Nigeria, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within brokerage operations, investment banking, or custody services.
- Mandatory possession of (or ability to obtain within 18 months) the NGX Authorised Dealing Clerk certification and Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) membership.
- SEC Sponsored Individual registration status or eligibility.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, ACA, ACCA, PMP, or Lean Six Sigma are highly desirable.
