About the Role
Custodian Investment Plc, a leading Nigerian investment group with diverse operations across insurance, pensions, trusteeship, and real estate, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head, HR Operations to join our corporate headquarters. In this critical leadership role, you will oversee our comprehensive HR operations, ensuring seamless service delivery, regulatory compliance, and alignment with our strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor the HR Operations team, providing strategic HR support to management and various business units across the group.
- Oversee end-to-end HR policies, employee relations, welfare, administration, and overall employee lifecycle processes from onboarding to exit.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly payroll processing alongside statutory remittances including Pension, NHF, NSITF, and ITF.
- Partner closely with Talent and Performance Management teams to optimize KPIs, job descriptions, and staff development initiatives.
- Maintain rigorous HR compliance, manage accurate employee records, and leverage advanced HR Management Systems for insightful reporting.
- Provide dedicated HR support to Agency Operations while proactively managing relationships with key regulators and external service providers.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline (a Master's degree is an added advantage).
- 7 to 10 years of progressive HR experience, with substantial background in HR Operations within the insurance or financial services sector.
- Active CIPM certification or other relevant professional HR credentials.
- Comprehensive expertise in payroll administration, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and Nigerian labor law compliance.
