About the Role
RACHAM Empowerment & Humanitarian Foundation (REHF) is a dynamic non-governmental, non-profit, faith-inspired humanitarian organization dedicated to empowering orphans, widows, vulnerable children, women, and indigent communities across Nigeria. We tackle poverty, lack of education, food insecurity, and social exclusion through sustainable, high-impact interventions. We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Grant Officer to join our professional team and play a pivotal role in securing financial resources to expand our humanitarian reach and community impact.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, research, and pursue institutional grants, corporate sponsorships, and philanthropic funding opportunities aligned with REHF organizational goals.
- Draft, write, and submit compelling grant proposals, concept notes, and funding applications in compliance with donor requirements.
- Maintain a comprehensive grant calendar to track submission deadlines, reporting schedules, and key milestones.
- Collaborate closely with the finance and program teams to monitor grant budgets, expenditures, and project implementation progress.
- Prepare accurate, comprehensive, and timely financial and narrative reports for institutional and private donors.
- Build and nurture strong, professional relationships with local and international donor agencies, partners, and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Development Studies, Business Administration, English, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven experience in grant writing, fundraising, or resource mobilization within the NGO or non-profit sector.
- Exceptional written, verbal communication, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong understanding of project cycle management, budgeting, and logical frameworks.
- Ability to work independently, meet strict deadlines, and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
