About the Role
Mewar International University (MIU) Nigeria, the first Indian university established in Africa, is seeking a motivated and academically brilliant individual to fill the position of Graduate Assistant in Physiotherapy. Located strategically along the Abuja-FCT corridor in Masaka, Nasarawa State, MIU is fully approved by the Federal Executive Council and accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC). Key Responsibilities- Assist senior academic staff in conducting undergraduate physiotherapy lectures, tutorials, and practical laboratory sessions.
- Support department research initiatives, data collection, and academic publications.
- Grade assignments, quizzes, and examinations under the supervision of faculty leads.
- Provide academic mentoring, guidance, and support to undergraduate physiotherapy students.
- Perform administrative and departmental duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
- Possession of a Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy with First Class or Second Class Upper Division honours.
- Completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme or provided a valid Letter of Exemption.
- Must be willing and ready to enroll in a Master Degree program upon appointment, with a strict completion timeline not exceeding three (3) years.
